Our online marketplace offers a platform for individuals to sell their products with two fulfillment options: Fulfillment by LoweMart (FBL) and Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM). Here are the key details for each:

• Fulfillment by LoweMart (FBL):

  • Merchants drop off products at our fulfillment centers.

  • LoweMart handles packaging, shipping, returns, and customer service.

  • A 12% fee is charged based on the product's selling price.

  • Provides a hassle-free experience for merchants and buyers.

• Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM):

  • Merchants are responsible for packaging, shipping, returns, and customer service.

  • LoweMart receives a 10% commission on sales.

  • Merchants upload product pictures to our webpage, and those with over 9 products send images directly to LoweMart Gambia.

  • Offers more flexibility for merchants to manage their fulfillment process.

• Payment Schedules:

  • FBL: Weekly payments to merchants.

  • FBM: Bi-weekly payments.

  • For FBL orders, LoweMart submits purchase orders to designated sales reps.

  • Merchants notify us via email or our web app once the order is fulfilled to ensure smooth transactions.

Prohibited Items on LoweMart

LoweMart operates in accordance with ethical guidelines, including respect for Islamic principles. As a result, the following items are strictly prohibited from being sold on our platform, based on Islamic teachings and values:

• Alcoholic beverages: Any form of alcohol or intoxicating drinks, including spirits, wines, and beers, is not allowed for sale.

• Pork and pork-based products: Products containing pork or derived from pigs, such as pork meat, gelatin, and lard, are strictly prohibited.

• Non-halal meats: Meat and meat products that are not slaughtered in accordance with halal standards cannot be sold.

• Gambling-related products: Items promoting gambling or lottery, such as tickets, chips, or gambling paraphernalia, are not permitted.

• Pornographic or indecent materials: Any form of explicit, adult content, including movies, magazines, or paraphernalia, is banned.

• Tobacco and harmful substances: Cigarettes, cigars, vaping products, and any other tobacco-based or harmful substances are prohibited.
